About Us

Let us introduce ourselves

Who we are

Here’s the deal, Caterham Baptist Church is about one person more than anything else - Jesus Christ. We are a family of individuals that have found hope in Jesus and what He has done for us, and simply want as many people as possible to experience that same relationship with Him and the freedom He brings to our lives. You can find out more in Our Beliefs page.

How we started

Caterham Baptist Church has been going since 1894. That's 128 years of serving God in our community. Some things have changed a lot in those years, but one thing is still the same: the good news that Jesus is alive and is our only hope for a secure future through faith in Him. You can find out more in Our History page.

Where we're heading

What's the bottom line? More than ever, Caterham Baptist Church is committed to the task of making followers of Jesus Christ, a family and community built around hope. Hope for the future. Hope for better. Hope in Jesus. And as we move through life together, inclusion and belonging remain at the centre of who we are.
